Funeral costs
Your Griefcare funeral practice charges a fee for preparing the deceased for burial or cremation and for making the funeral arrangements. In addition, they act as an agent for other suppliers. This means the practice’s invoice amounts to several accounts in one:
- The fee for the services the practice provided
- The casket
- Any other items paid for by the funeral director when acting as an
agent for the family (such as flowers, newspaper notices, toll calls,
mourners’ cars, and cemetery and cremation fees).
There are so many variables that it is not possible to give a clear indication of the total cost of a funeral. It is best to talk to your local Griefcare funeral director, who will be able to give costings based on your locality and requirements. Bear in mind:
- The funeral account will cover the three types of charges as outlined
above
- Griefcare funeral directors can provide a funeral service to suit your needs and financial circumstances
- If you have any financial worries, let your funeral director know as soon as possible. They will be able to guide you and possibly suggest agencies you could approach for assistance.
